Global Appliance Company Launches Laundry Innovations At IFA 2015 (September 1, 2015)
HOUSTON—Global appliance leader Equator Advanced Appliances will debut two major home laundry innovations this month at the IFA Trade Show: a “Smart” combo washer-dryer with wifi capabilities and a second model featuring backup water and power sources. IFA runs from Sept. 4-9 in Berlin, Germany.
Equator’s wifi-enabled Super Combo marks the company’s entry into the “smart home” category. Equator will also use IFA to debut its Super Combo Global South, a model designed to meet everyday laundry challenges in developing countries. Featuring innovations such as backup water source, cleanable water filters and a rechargeable battery capable of finishing a wash-dry cycle, the SuperCombo Global South will also launch in India this fall. The “smart” and Global South models are the latest generations of Equator’s best-selling Super Combo, the world’s first convertible venting-condensing combo washer-dryer.
